We spend a lot of time at Shelby. It's been a great spot for picnics and walks with the pups, and there is a nice playground too.

Shelby Bottoms Nature Center & Greenway

The permanent collection is worth a visit, and the special exhibits are always fun to see and often interactive.

Frist Art Museum

We've been here many times for different events. The planetarium is a lot of fun, and the exhibits are fun for kids and parents. There's also a giant, interactive playground in the middle of the building.

Grimey's New & Preloved Music

Not only is this where we met, but Daniel is the General Manager! If you're looking for great burgers, house made sodas, or delicious milkshakes, this is the perfect spot. They also have vegan options.

The Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden

Slow Burn Hot Chicken -East Nashville

One of our favorite restaurants. It's great for date night or a group. Don't miss out on the whipped feta!

Butcher & Bee

If you're hanging out downtown and need food, check this spot out. There are lots of different options, most of them local. It makes it easy to find something that everyone in a group will enjoy.

Assembly Food Hall

This is one of our favorite spots. Their outdoor space is dog-friendly, and the drinks are great. They also serve delicious vegan food!

Rosemary & Beauty Queen

We really only go to Broadway when friends are in town, but if you're interested in seeing what the area is like, we recommend this spot. They always have very talented bands. Be prepared for crowds!

Robert's Western World

Yazoo Brewing Company

This is a fun, small bar that operates without a menu. Just tell them what flavors you're craving and your preferred spirit(s), and they'll make a delicious cocktail. We recommend getting there early because the line fills up quickly!

Attaboy

A great local brewery in a beautifully designed space. They also have a great location in Germantown with lots of outdoor space.

Bearded Iris - Sylvan Supply

If you're into sour beer and unique flavor combinations, this is the spot for you. They also have lots of board games if you're looking for something fun to do with a group.
