Question

Do we need to bring masks?

Answer

Please bring a mask with you to the ceremony and reception. Currently, there is not a mask mandate in Davidson County, where the wedding venue is located. However, if there is rain, we will be inside together, in which case we'll ask you to wear your masks. If we have fair weather, the event is entirely outside. The barn where the dance floor will be located has three walls, and we plan to have the doors open, so there will be plenty of air flow. Please wear a mask if you would like.

Are the ceremony and reception outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Weather-permitting, we will be getting married and celebrating outside. The dance floor will be in a 3-walled barn that has a covered porch. If it rains, we will be doing everything in the barn except the cocktail hour, which will be inside the main building while the barn is flipped. If that happens, we will be asking people to wear masks while inside.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 5PM. Please arrive no earlier than 4PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are getting married in a garden, so please wear comfortable clothes. As we said on our invitation, Garden Attire is great. Think sundresses, flower patterns, lightweight pants/suits, etc.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. The sooner we know about it, the sooner we can make sure our caterer has a plan!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is lots of parking available at the venue. If you will be drinking, please be safe! It is easy to request a Lyft or Uber from most places in the city, and carpooling is another great option.
