This is where we had our first date. There's an amazing view of the bridge and it's right on the water! Stop by and grab a drink and a snack!
There are many historical houses to tour in downtown. We like the Nathaniel Russell House and the Aiken-Rhett House
Similar to Faneuil Hall, but with more local artists
Lower King St. is great for shopping and strolling while Upper King St. is filled with bars and restaurants.
A wonderful spot to walk along the water. Be sure to check out the Pineapple Fountain and Rainbow Row (83-107 East Bay Street).
Places downtown we recommend: Fleet Landing (Seafood, on the water) Poogan's Porch (Southern food) Church and Union Bay Street Biergarten (outdoor sports bar) The Grocery (small plates) RuRu's Tacos and Tequila Frannie and the Fox Lewis Barbecue
10-15 minutes from downtown bars and restaurants on the water with GREAT sunsets Saltwater Cowboys, Reds, Mill Street Tavern, Tavern and Table
If you are looking for a beach, this is the one! Street parking is available. We like to park near the "Sand Dunes Club"
Great coffee and yummy treats. This place is open late night and is always a great end to the evening!
