What date should I RSVP by?

With this being a destination wedding for many of our guests, we ask that you kindly RSVP as soon as possible.

What is the address of the wedding ceremony/reception? Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Ceremony and Reception will be at The Cedar Room, 701 East Bay Street, Charleston SC 29403. Yes, it is wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator for guests who are unable to access the stairs.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking onsite for our guests.

Will the wedding take place inside or outside

Answer

It tends to be HOT this time of year in Charleston, so depending on weather the cocktail hour will be outside. The ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire. Flowy dresses, simple suit jackets, and breathable fabric for that hot Charleston summer.

Will there be an open bar?

When should I arrive to the ceremony by?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. We have both a photographer and videographer, so please enjoy the moment and keep cellphones silent and put away.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please reference the travel section of the website. There are many options for hotels in downtown Charleston that are within a 10 minute drive to the venue.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No! It will be an unplugged ceremony. We have a great photographer that will capture all the things. This is extremely important to us. We promise there will be plenty of time to take pictures throughout the evening!
