Utah is a beautiful place, especially up in the mountains! Some options to consider during your weekend: 

1. Snowbird's Oktoberfest: located a short drive or shuttle away from Snowpine Lodge, or about a 30-minute walk, Oktoberfest is hosted at neighboring ski resort Snowbird. It will be in full swing over Labor Day weekend from 12:00 - 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Come for a selection of local drafts, live music, vendors and activities (alpine slide, Tram to the top of Hidden Peak for 360 views, etc.).

2. Hiking in Little Cottonwood Canyon: some popular hikes near Snowpine include Albion Meadows Trail (3.6 miles, 744 ft elevation gain), Cecret Lake Trail (1.8 miles, 465 ft elevation gain), Toledo Bowl via Cardiff Pass Trail (2.2 miles, 875 ft elevation gain), and Devil's Castle/Sugarloaf via Cecret Lake (4.2 miles, 1,759 ft elevation gain).
