You can still receive our discounted room rate, but you will need to book your room reservation by calling Snowpine and asking to speak with Julia about extending your stay an additional night (or two).
You're welcome to bring kids for the weekend, however the reception will be adults only.
If you live at sea level or have health concerns, you may be prone to symptoms of altitude sickness. Our wedding will be at 8,500 feet; you may want to consider spending your first night in the Salt Lake valley to give yourself some time to acclimate prior to heading up into the mountains. We recommend hotels near the entrance of Big Cottonwood Canyon (see the Travel section for more information). Small personal canisters of oxygen will be available at Snowpine for anyone who is feeling unwell, and we recommend drinking plenty of water. And a small reminder that alcohol may affect you more at altitude than you are used to!
We'd say that we expect formal attire for our wedding, but we want people to wear whatever makes them feel GOOD. If you have a jumpsuit that you think you look great in, by all means rock it! If you have a blazer with a specific shirt that you have more fun in, wear them! We expect that people want to look nice by dressing well at our wedding, but we will not strictly define what that entails for people.
We're still trying to figure out the answer to this one ourselves, stay tuned.
