The Modern Honolulu

Due to limited interest, we were unable to secure a room block. However, if you would still like to stay at our hotel, you may book with a discounted rate via sites such as Expedia or Travelocity. If you would like more affordable options, we recommend OHANA Waikiki East by Outrigger, Waikiki Malia, Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, and Aqua Oasis. We understand traveling to Hawaii can be costly so please let us know if you would like to use our Kama'aina discount.

This is a more affordable option that will still have you close to the wedding venue. It is located right across the street from The Modern is approximately 3 minutes walking distance.

Travel Note

Stays via AirBNB & VRBO

If you are planning to book accommodations via AirBNB or VRBO, please refer to Bill 41, which went into effect in October of 2022. Under this new bill, stays under 90 days will not be permitted in most zones, except in (a) select apartment and resort zones and (b) where Hosts have a valid Nonconforming Use Certificate.
