Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jennifer Nguyen and Quang Lu
We're so excited to share a few things on the island with you! We visited Honolulu many times (thanks to Lien, Quang's sister) and fell in love with the island and culture. Although you're coming to help celebrate us, we hope that you too will fall in love with Hawaii as we have. As you spend time here, please respect the land and people so that future tourists and locals too can continue to enjoy their time here.

Lanikai Pillbox

Kailua, HI 96734
, (808) 587-0400

This hike was our very first hike that we did on Oahu. It is very short yet rewarding. The beginning can be steep for some and majority of it is not covered so please plan accordingly. *There is no designated parking for this hike. Street parking is in a residential area so please park carefully. You will be ticketed if you park near a fire hydrant or block someone's driveway.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

100 Hanauma Bay Road, Honolulu, HI 96825
, (808) 768-6861

• The Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve (HBAY) is open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays, with entry allowed from 6:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. No entry will be allowed into the nature preserve after 1:30PM. • Online reservations can be made 2 days in advance starting at 7:00am Hawai‘i Standard Time (HST). Keep in mind that that tickets for Wednesday will open on Saturday since the park is closed Mondays & Tuesdays. • Tickets are on high demand and are very limited. They could sell out as fast as 5 minutes after reservations are available at 7:00AM HST. • If you are not able to make an online reservation, you may purchase a walk-in ticket at the park when it opens at 6:45 a.m. Walk-in tickets must be used on the day of purchase. Plan on arriving early as the daily walk-in tickets are limited and sell out very quickly. • All Visitors must view orientation video. • No charge for children 12 years and younger.

Kualoa Ranch

49-560 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744
, (808) 237-7321

Normally we don't care much for tourist attractions but Kualoa is truly a beautiful place. If you're wanting jurassic park vibes, we highly recommend doing an activity such UTV/ATV or the jungle expedition tour here. *Activities here book out very quickly so we highly recommend booking at least 2-3months in advance.

Ala Moana Center

1450 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814
, (808) 955-9517

No into physically draining adventures but rather shop until you drop? Ala Moana is the biggest outdoor mall in the country! If you're feeling boujie, brands such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton are sold with a discount between 10-20% off regular pricing. Best part? Our taxes here are 4.721%.

Musubi Cafe IYASUME

Honolulu, HI 96815

Our favorite place to get musubis! Sure they're good pretty much any where but if you want the full gourmet musubi experience, this is the place! There are multiple locations all over the island so don't forget to pick one up before you leave!

Surf Lessons Waikiki

2699 Kalākaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96815
, (808) 374-5744

Hawaii is the birthplace of surfing so if you're feeling adventurous, try surfing!
