Question
Where is the wedding venue?
Answer
Our wedding venue is located at the top of Vail Mountain and is accessed via the Eagle Bahn Gondola from Lionshead Village. Our wedding ceremony will take place promptly at 2:30pm. Please upload on Gondola One at 2pm sharp. Note that the gondola ride takes about 10 minutes so leave yourself plenty of time to get to the ceremony.
Question
Are there shuttles to the Welcome Party, Wedding Venue, and After Party?

Town Shuttles: There are complimentary shuttles that run from Lionshead to Vail Village (and vice versa). Welcome Party: If staying in Lionshead Village (where the bride and groom will be), we would recommend taking Vail's in-town free bus to the Solaris Bus Stop which takes you directly in front of our Welcome Party at Chasing Rabbits. The buses pick up from the front drive of The Hythe and at the main entry to Lionshead Village. The buses pickup roughly every 10 minutes and run from 6:30am - 1:30am. Wedding Venue: If staying in Lionshead, our venue is a 2-3 minute walk and no transportation is needed! If staying in Vail Village, we recommend taking the Vail in-town free bus to Lionshead Transit Center and walking 4-5 minutes to the Eagle Bahn Gondola. After Party: This is after the reception starting at 10:15 PM. The location is TBD. We will update this section once we confirm. Many of the hotels offer their own shuttles. The Vail in-town bus system is incredibly convenient; however, if you have mobility issues, the hotel shuttles are another free option.
Question
Can I take a taxi or drive to the venue?
Answer
If staying further away and would like to schedule a taxi ride, we would recommend scheduling a cab with Ride Taxi using ridetaxivail.com. Please note, Taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts are very sparse. This is why we highly recommend staying in a hotel in Lionshead Village. We don't recommend driving to our venue as there are many more convenient and safe transportation options.
Question
Should we book an Airbnb?
Answer
We do not recommend booking an airbnb. All of the hotels we recommended are a 1-3 minute walk to and from our venue and the Lionshead Village with many restaurant and bar options. It's a much more fun experience to stay in town. Most Airbnbs are not close to town and Ubers are very limited.

We're bringing our kids to Vail. Any sitter recommendations?
