Salem, MA
Salem, MA has many great places to visit that can fit any itinerary. Whether you are interested in its maritime history, contributions to literature, the hysteria of the 1692 Salem Witch Trials, or seeing filming locations of the 1993 film Hocus Pocus, there is something for everyone.
Maine
For those who will have a car, we highly recommend coming up to the state we call our home. Depending on how long you will be in the area, there is quite a bit you can do up in Maine. If you want to make a quick day trip, we recommend visiting the Portland, ME area where we live - roughly 1.5 hours north of Salem, MA.
Boston, MA
Salem, MA is located within the Greater Boston area. For a quick and easy day trip, we recommend walking the Freedom Trail and grabbing a bite to eat in the North End. Boston can be a pretty tough place to drive in, so we highly recommend taking the commuter rail to Boston's North Station and using their public transit system to navigate the city.
