FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jenna Bates and Romain Rousseau
Question

By when should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 6th.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Absolutely - if they're on the invitation, they're welcome! The earlier parts of the evening, like the ceremony and dinner, will likely be more kid-friendly than the later portions of the reception, but it’s entirely up to you and your family. We love having our younger family members join us!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be outdoors. Not to fear - New Orleans is around 60 degrees Fahrenheit/16 degrees Celsius during the evenings in November. We have backups in case of rain.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Food will be served cocktail-style and will include vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you have other dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP and we are happy to accommodate.

Question

What is the best way to get around New Orleans?

Answer

New Orleans is a small city, and you can walk or take the streetcar between many of the tourist sights (and both are an experience in themselves)! To travel to and from the wedding, we would recommend using Uber or Lyft.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Fun colors encouraged!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

To give our guests flexibility and account for people staying all over the city, we will not be providing transportation to Race + Religious. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the venue.
