Please plan on bringing an outer layer for nighttime activities. Pool Kick Back: Casual / swimsuits! Welcome Party: Dressy casual. Think elevated summer vibes! Ceremony and Reception: Mountain Chic — Ladies: think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or smart separates! Bring a light layer for cooler evening temps. Our wedding will be held outdoors with gravel walkways and grass, so please reach for the block heels/sandals, boots or wedges and leave the stilettos at home. For Men: suit or nice button-down with or without a sports coat/blazer and slacks or chinos. Please no jeans. No need for ties, unless you really want to dress to impress!
We love your little ones, however the night of the wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand! Kids are invited to join for the welcome party the night before the wedding! There is an onsite daycare room where we can help organize certified babysitters through Nakoma resort, please reach out and we can get you connected.
If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be noted. Feel free to reach out with questions.

Yes! Shuttles will be running throughout the night to all houses and the hotel within Nakoma Resort! Many are also within walking distance of the venue.
Please arrive at 3:45 at the latest. The wedding ceremony will begin at 4!
It is not 100% necessary to rent a car if you have other means of transportation from the airport or can carpool, however, it is recommended to be able to explore the surrounding areas! All events will be on property and Nakoma housing is walkable or accessible by the free Nakoma shuttle service. If you are not staying on the Nakoma property, however, you will likely need to drive to the events at the venue. **PLEASE NOTE****If you are renting a car out of the Reno-Tahoe Airport, please be advised that Burning Man begins on August 30 and you should book a rental as early as possible. Turo is also another great rental option. Uber and Lyfts are not common in the Nakoma surrounding area, but see below for a few airport transfer taxi services from the Reno airport: https://www.taxitahoe.com https://tahoetaxiexpress.com https://northlaketahoeexpress.com
There are two restaurants on property: Fifty44 (steakhouse at the lodge at the top) & Middle Fork Bar & Bistro (Pool Restaurant at Altitude).
Late Summer in the Sierra Mountains is one of the best times of year. The weather during the day is typically sunny and in the mid to high 70s/low 80s. At night, it cools down comfortably, to the 60s and high 50s, so we recommend bringing some layers.
The Nakoma Lodge (location of the wedding ceremony) design was conceived in 1923 by the famous Frank Lloyd Wright! Johnny's Grandparents (The Beckers) were big fans of Frank Lloyd Wright, and even had sent a letter to Mr. Wright to see if he would design their house! He (surprisingly) personally responded, kindly denying their request. Nicole Fazio's (one of Jenna's best friends), Grandpa was a general surgeon and was involved in something health related for Mr. Wright, and they bonded! Frank Lloyd Wright built Nicole's dad's childhood home in Indiana! Jacqui Lebel's (friend of Jenna & Johnny's from Truckee!) Dad built the Altitude Recreation building, where our welcome drinks will take place!
