Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Jennifer Moore and Joshua Stark
and these people will be there for it.

Jennifer Moore

Bride

Jennifer ardently loves words, so it is not terribly shocking that she delights in cuddling up with a good book on both rainy and non-rainy days while listening to the vinyl play; it is even better with a puppy sleeping on her feet! As content as Jennifer is to snuggle and read for days on end, she adores the great outdoors. Jennifer finds tranquility on the hiking trails and playing in creeks (even when Josh impatiently wishes to press on). Climbing to the summit, assembling a hammock, and reading an enthralling tale is what Jennifer considers a quintessential day. When Jennifer is not enjoying a novel or being outside, she can be found in the Pilates studio strengthening and mobilizing her body. Jennifer has such a passion for Pilates that she switched careers and became an instructor.

Joshua Stark

Groom

Audio engineering, sound designing, and consulting take up much of Josh's time, which works wonderfully as he gets paid for his passion. He also loves teaching the next generation and facilitating their personal growth. Josh, when not embarking on "sound guy adventures," is outdoors (or unhappily not outside). He is likely to be running, cycling, or hiking in parks of all varieties, especially National and State Parks. During warmer days, Josh lives by the pool (or any accessible river, lake, or waterfall) and grills in search of the perfectly cooked burger. When stuck indoors, Josh follows his favorite sports teams. During baseball season, the Red Socks are on the screen. If it is time for hockey, the Preds are being watched. If it is football season, there are a few screens being used.

Emily Green

Maid of Honor

After meeting in college, Emily and Jennifer hardly spoke for an entire year. They have no idea why they did not become friends sooner as they may just be the same person. The two freak out over various novels (Harry Potter and Shadowhunters, of course!) because "words have the power to change us." The two often spend their time rapidly speaking about literature, movies, and music; trying to understand humanity; and debating to what extent Disney has gravely wounded Star Wars. Funny Story: Emily had a dreadful week and spent her weekend in bed. Upon Emily's denial to move, Jennifer chose to pull Emily out of bed. Off came blankets, pillows, and sheets; there sat Emily refusing to leave. So, down came the mattress... and Emily. Once the shock (and spite) wore off, Emily smiled and laughed!

Riley Parker

Best Man

Riley met Josh in college. This means they spent many nights playing on the Xbox and building in Minecraft. They also (sometimes) did homework. Once they moved into the Honors Cottage, it was all metaphorically downhill from there. Josh and Riley are big sports fans, so they attended many football games while in college and spent many weekends the "right way" - grilling, watching a flatscreen, and enjoying a cold one. They have gone on many escapades together, from concerts to weekends camping in the mountains. Funny Story: Josh helped Riley propose; however, it did not go as planned. To be honest, the preparation was very chaotic: the lights were semi-burnt out, the tape refused to stick, the ring box was not in the right spot. Tabitha did say, "Yes!" and the two are now happily married!

Hannah Brazer

Bridesmaid

Hannah and Jennifer met by becoming sisters. As Sigma Kappas, they spent a majority of their time together; they shared a dorm and basically all of their other belongings, even their Big. Hannah and Jennifer got through the toughest college years together, spending countless hours in the on-campus food bank volunteering and watching Shadowhunters instead of studying for important tests. (Hey! They graduated!) Hannah also reminded Jennifer to eat food and sleep every day. Funny Story: Jennifer once got a group of friends lost in a corn maze. (She still swears that she was told the map was a ticket!) Luckily, Hannah was there to save the day! She found the way out when Jennifer was contemplating "strategically redesigning the maze." Hannah (and Emily) will never let Jennifer live this down.

Joe Hernandez

Groomsman

These two go way back to the days of pre-K. Joe and Josh grew up together: from Cub Scouts through Boy Scouts to Eagle Scouts. The outdoors were basically their second home growing up; the two went on innumerable trips that included camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, climbing ropes courses, and more. As a result, the outdoors truly are their second home. (They'd probably live outside if it was feasible.) Honestly, Joe and Josh simply like to spend time with one another adventuring throughout nature. Funny Story: Joe and Josh out-paddled a thunderstorm. Tired from kayaking, they decided to nap out on the calm waters. A storm brewing overhead woke them. They furiously paddled back to shore just in time to watch the tempest pass by on the other side of the lake from the safety of the dock.
