what you do! Find something you'll love doing while in town.

Stardust Drive In Theatre

310 Purple Tiger Drive, Watertown, TN 37184
, (615) 237-0077

If you have never been to a drive in, The Stardust is a must! You can see two movies for less than what you pay in the theatre! What's more awesome is that they play current films on the big screen. They've got great concessions, too!

Grand Ole Opry

Grand Ole Opry

2804 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214
, (615) 871-6779

If you don't have the opportunity to see a show, book a backstage tour via the Opry's website!

Opry Mills Shopping Center

Opry Mills Shopping Center

Nashville, TN 37214

If you can't find anything to do here, there are some serious problems. The bride and groom highly recommend utilizing the Lego Store...It's quite fun to make Lego people!

John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

Pedestrian Bridge, Nashville, TN

This bridge is how Josh and Jenn get into Nashville, even though they have to drive around the city to get to the parking lot (it's FREE parking!). The bridge offers an astounding view of the city and is named after one of Jenn's favorite historians.

Schermerhorn Symphony Center

1 Symphony Place, Nashville, TN 37201

This is one of Jennifer's favorite buildings in Nashville; it certainly helps that the symphony is one of Josh and Jenn's favorite places to visit,

Ascend Amphitheater

Ascend Amphitheater

301 1st Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37201
, (615) 999-9000

This is where Josh and Jenn went to see The Lumineers. They highly recommend both the amphitheater and The Lumineers.

The Broadway Strip

The Broadway Strip

1811 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203

This is the stereotypical Nashville experience. There's a long history on Broadway; Cher was almost arrested in Tootsies. The Ryman is only a few steps off of Broadway, as are other museums and places to visit!

Ryman Auditorium

Ryman Auditorium

116 5th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37219
, (615) 889-3060

If you're going to Broadway, swing by the Ryman! Tours take place daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tennessee Performing Arts Center

505 Deaderick Street, Nashville, TN 37219
, (615) 782-4040

Funny Story: Josh works at TPAC; however, he may not have if Jennifer had not insisted they go see Postmodern Jukebox. While sitting in the theatre waiting for the show to start, Josh wondered if TPAC was hiring. TPAC was hiring; Josh had a job before he officially graduated college.

Centennial Park

2500 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203

If you're looking for history, the Parthenon is located here. With both a walkthrough museum of how an exact replica of the Parthenon and Athena Parthenos ended up staying in Nashville after the World's Fair and an art gallery underneath the main hall, there is plenty to entertain! Plus, you'll often find wildlife hanging out in the surrounding ponds.

The Flipside

2403 12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204
, (615) 292-9299

This is where Josh asked Jenn if she wanted to go late one Saturday night... see the "How It All Began" section on the homepage to see how that went for Josh.

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

3777 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211
, (615) 833-1534

Josh and Jenn love the Zoo! What is better than being out in the sunshine while petting a kangaroo? Be sure to check out the red pandas, as they are a favorite!

Burger Republic

Burger Republic

6900 Lenox Village Drive, Nashville, TN 37211
, (615) 499-4428

As noted in "How It All Started," Burger Republic is where Josh and Jenn went on their first date. They highly recommend getting an ABC Milkshake!

Radnor Lake State Park

Radnor Lake State Park

1160 Otter Creek Road, Nashville, TN 37220
, (615) 373-3467

This is a beautiful hike! Josh and Jenn like to hike here because of the active wildlife (turkeys, turtles, and more), the great elevation changes, and especially the views.

Edwin & Percy Warner Parks

Edwin & Percy Warner Parks

7311 Tennessee 100, Nashville, TN 37221
, (615) 352-6299

Josh and Jenn spend quite a bit of time in these parks. Deer are often found on the trails. Jennifer often likes to stop and play in the creeks or even the river if given the chance. The two like to hike up to a quiet place and throw up the hammock for some sunbathing time.

Lotz House Museum

Lotz House Museum

1111 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN 37064
, (615) 790-7190

Jennifer once gave tours at the Lotz house for extra credit in college; it was a large part of sparking her love of public history. Fun fact: One of the boys that lived in this house invented the vacuum; some dude named Hoover paid for it all though.

Carter House

1140 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN 37064
, (615) 791-1861

The Carter House proudly is still standing despite the amount of bullet holes that it has; this was the first building knocked on by the Confederate officers before the Battle of Franklin ensued (it quickly became the front line of the battle).

Carnton Plantation

Carnton Plantation

1345 Eastern Flank Circle, Franklin, TN 37064
, (615) 794-0903

The Carnton is beautiful. Despite many saying they feel Mrs. McGavock's presence or the fact that the home became a field hospital, the place is decidedly not haunted.
