However, we'd love for you to participate in the Asian wedding tradition of red envelopes at the Reception.
THE RED ENVELOPE WEDDING GIFT TRADITION
Traditionally, guests will give red envelopes with money inside to the couple as wedding gifts. The red envelope is called “红包”, “hong bao” or ”利是”, “li shi”, in Chinese. They represent blessings for a lasting marriage and good fortune for the newlywed.
These red envelopes will be available at your seat at the Reception with a pen.
Jenny and David will visit each table to accept these blessings.
