Our happily ever after

Our love story began in 2018 when we met through a mutual friend and my roommate at the time Robby, who is actually a groomsman in the wedding. Jeneva first saw me when she came over to our house and I was sitting on the couch and managed to catch her attention somehow. She tried to slyly ask Robby about me but he shut that down and broke the news to her that I had a girlfriend. A year passed by and we had run into each other a few times and she definitely caught my attention. I decided I needed to run into her on purpose, but did not have her number. The only way I could think to contact her was on Facebook. I slid in those DMs and after 2 weeks of friendly banter I finally built up the courage to ask her out. It was February 1, 2019 and I was supposed to fly to Reno, but my flight got cancelled. I decided to ask her out, and I thought the date went well, but she thought otherwise. I apparently mispronounced her name wrong and got her eye color wrong...normal first date mistakes. She did not think there would be a second date, but I was persistent and she decided to give me another chance anyway. After several months of hanging out I wasn't sure if she truly liked me, but I never gave up. I ended up winning over her friends and most importantly her mom and she soon became enamored with me. I said I love you first, but we both fell in love at the same time. We started going on many adventures together and just having a great time enjoying each others company. Soon she never went home and we officially moved in together at the end of 2019 and survived the lock-down of COVID together. It wasn't too long after we realized we only wanted to be with each other and began talking about our future together. We decided to go ring shopping and I surprised her with a sunset proposal in the presence of our wonderful parents. Now we get to plan a beautiful wedding with all of our favorite people!
