So there was this boy that moved to SWFL about 13 years ago. About 11 years ago or so he went out to Larry's (Sports Bar) and saw this girl and her twin sister dancing. Then in April of 2012 he ran into the same girl on the softball fields in Naples while they both filled in as subs for a team! They struck up a conversation and really hit it off. Other than a bit of facebook stalking, they both went their separate ways - nothing more became of it. Then a few months later Facebook notified the girl that it was the boy's birthday. She sent him a message wishing him an awesome year ahead. He got excited and thought, "maybe I should ask her out." But he didn't. Later that same night, the girl decided to get ice cream at Royal Scoop in Bonita with her twin sister and her (now) fiance. Although they ended up bailing on her, the girl got her ice cream and ate it outside on the bench alone. Less than 15min later, the boy walks by!! So naturally the girl goes back inside to "use the restroom" so she can talk to this boy. A connection was made, but stil no numbers were exchanged. Feeling excited and determined to get this boy's attention, the girl writes a Facebook status the next day about the meet and greet. (Not knowing the boy tagged himself at Royal Scoop the night before in hopes to get the girls attention.) So the girl tagged the boy in her status that next morning and he decides to finally make a move and messages the girl! (Baby steps.) After messaging back and forth, the girl took the lead and sent him her number. He texted immediately. They talked all day. Later that night he sent her a text, "Hungry?" And... that one text led to their first date, which by the way the girl wasn't even sure if was a date, as she couldn't read this boy AT ALL. But thankfully, after a few dates and a first kiss that saved the day... the boy and girl have been inseparable ever since. ❤️ Now, 7 years, a house, and 2 dogs later... this boy and girl are finally getting married!
