We're getting married!

Our adventure begins how all modern day love stories begin these days - online: It was a random Saturday in November 2018, and Jen was lonely after coming home early from a dinner outing. Jen put on her pajamas, and was about to call it a night, but Owen invited her to his favorite local bar. Figuring "what do I have to lose?" Jen changed back into clothes, got in her car, and drove to "The Pub" in Somerville. Despite it not being a "romantic" date, neither wanted the night to end and the chemistry was there. Owen did the gentleman-ly thing and asked Jen on what he called a "proper" date, and a week later they met up again. The second date was romantic and included a nice dinner, some dancing, and lots of laughs. They both knew there was already a strong connection. Owen asked Jen to be his girlfriend on Christmas, his favorite holiday. Jen, the queen of overthinking and overanalyzing situations, wanted to say yes but told Owen "it's too soon." Owen laughed at Jen, as he typically does, respected her answer and waited a whole 24 hours before asking again. This time Jen said yes. While dating, Owen and Jen realized they shared a love for the television show "The Office," and two of the main characters, Jim and Pam. They watch the show together often, and their favorite episode is the one where Jim and Pam get married at Niagara Falls. Owen told Jen he wanted to take a romantic weekend getaway, and they just so happened to find a travel deal to Niagara Falls in early November. The trip was booked, and meant to be adventurous & relaxing. Owen had bigger plans in mind. He purchased an engagement ring in October and surprised Jen by proposing at the falls on November 4, 2019.
