Have Your Plans Changed due to COVID-19?

Answer

As of now, we are moving forward with our wedding as planned. We will continue to monitor all health advisories as we want our guests to feel as safe as possible. We will update everyone accordingly if any changes are made. However, PLEASE do what you feel is best for yourself and your family. We completely understand if you are not comfortable with traveling or being at a large gathering this summer.

Does the Elevation Really Affect You?

Answer

YES, YES, YES. Honestly, DRINK AS MUCH WATER AS YOU CAN especially when you first arrive. Even if you’re not thirsty, even if drinking even one more sip makes you feel like you will explode, even if you have to run to the bathroom every five minutes, it helps we promise!!!! Liquid IV is also a good aid in keeping hydrated (it comes in packets like an emergen-c or crystal light). Drinking alcohol at elevation can hit you different as well, so just be careful, and again, DRINK ALL THE WATER.

Will There Be Transportation to the Wedding?

YES! We will be providing a party bus from both hotels to the wedding and then back from the reception. More details can be found on the “Travel” tab.

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

YES! Kids are welcome at both the wedding and welcome party. While we understand if you want a parents night (or weekend) out, we definitely welcome kiddos if you would like to bring them & will try to have some kid friendly activities.

There will be an open bar at the wedding & at the welcome party. Plan accordingly, hydrate properly ;)

Should I Bring a Gift?

Gifts are absolutely not necessary!!! We are just SO happy you are choosing to travel to beautiful Colorado for us, which is gift enough!

I Can’t Make It - Will You Be Having A Local Celebration?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be hosting a local celebration or reception after our wedding. We aren’t choosing to do this to exclude anyone, we promise, and we will deeply miss you, but this is just what works for us! We will definitely share pictures and stories of our day if you are unable to attend.

So What is this Welcome Party?

Answer

Honestly, it's just a fun get together to kick of our wedding weekend for anyone who is in Colorado on Friday evening and would like to attend. Think of it as a casual get together where you can meet other wedding guests and have some fun (we chose to do this on Friday so that you have all day Saturday to "rest" if you had too much fun so you're ready for Sunday!). Please note there will be an RSVP card for the welcome party. Please include this RSVP along with your wedding response so we have an accurate count of guests for food & booze :)
