Our greatest adventure begins!

Matt and Jen were set up by mutual friends (thanks, HoMatt & Katie!) and had their first “blind” date at The Wine Bistro in Upper Arlington. They had a great dinner, tasty wine & long conversations. They got along so well and had so much to say that the restaurant was closing down while they were still talking. This lead seamlessly to a second date where they went shooting (yes, shooting!) followed by tacos at a local restaurant. The next five plus years have been full of more wine & plenty of adventures!

It was a Sunday afternoon and Jen suggested going for a walk/hike at a local park. They started out at Schiller Park in German Village which was pretty crowded & full of puppers! Matt then suggested they head to Scioto Audubon Metro Park where they continued to walk around and Jen even kind of got stuck climbing up a rope wall... for real. They then headed home for some lunch and surprisingly Matt suggested one more park (little did Jen know, he was waiting all day for the perfect moment and had yet to find it!). They then headed to Darby Creek Metro Park where they hiked along the creek and toward the end of the hike Matt bent down to tie his shoe and got the ring out of his pocket! He then proceeded to ask Jen "So, do you maybe wanna hold on to this for me?" hahahahaha Jen said Yes! And then immediately asked if he was going to actually ask her to marry him - which he did and she said yes, again! :)
