Unfortunately, COVID has forced us to rethink some things and change our strategy regarding our guest list and our numbers. In order to ensure that all of those with whom we are looking forward to sharing this day are able to be invited, our new Save the Date cards no longer contain "and Guest." Since this is a less traditional, smaller celebration, everyone in attendance should be surrounded by people they know, and new people to get to know! We hope this doesn't leave anyone feeling slighted, but if I've learned anything from 2020, to quote Michael McGriffy, "Blessed are those who are flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape."
The Loft is open beer, wine and soda because we don't trust a lot of you with unfettered access to liquor! LOL You are more than welcome to venture downstairs to the tavern if you prefer to grab a cocktail! It will be a cash bar for anyone who moves downstairs after 10pm when our shin-dig ends.
That's a BIG FAT NO! If you get caught we will be fined $300 by the bar. That means YOU will be giving us $300 along with a sincere apology or we'll no longer be friends! Wander your way downstairs, there is an entire bar full of cocktails down there!
Columbia Crossings has a decent sized lot. The Loft at the Burning Bridge Tavern has a parking lot in the South Alley out back, off of N. Front Street or N. 2nd Street. In addition, there is a parking lot off of South Alley. The surrounding offices belong to the BBT as well and they are closed on weekends, so you are welcome to park in any of those lots. John Wright Restaurant, down the street a few blocks, is their sister restaurant. They also have a huge lot that everyone is welcome to park in. Just be thoughtful when you park. If you're young and spry enough to make the walk, make it and leave the closer spots open for those who are a little older and will have a tougher time making the trek. Thanks! With open beer and wine I certainly hope so! LOL However, there is no formal dance floor and there won't be any traditional dances.
Sorry, there's not, but I would highly recommend designating a driver or downloading Uber or Lyft. First time DUI fines in PA could pay for our wedding and our honeymoon!
