Our Story
On our first date at Alpine Meadows we assessed each other's ski ability before knowing what one another looked like. After revealing our facial features at The Chalet, it was clear that helmet hair and raccoon tans weren’t going to slow down the attraction that started to snowball.
The day continued its upward ascent when a group of Chris’s friends joined our first date for some party laps on Pete’s Peril. As they know, we credit them with sealing the deal.
As we bonded over lakeside bonfires and a taste for good bourbon, it became clear that we both shared a sense of adventure, deeply valued community, and had an eagerness to make the most of life's possibilities.
Chris's enthusiasm for Jen's wild schemes, from potty-training a new puppy, renting an apartment in Mexico, to haggling for a minivan in Idaho taught us that the right partnership can make life even sweeter.
And so, we are thrilled to celebrate with you as we get ready to embark on the biggest adventure of all—marriage.
