Wedding Party

Margaux Tan

Maid of Honor

Margaux and I became best friends at Andrews when we spent over 24 hours locked in a recording studio and came out of it alive (yes, we procrastinated on our sound class final). Since then, we've been inseparable (despite being constantly separated), and I constantly crashed at her house for weeks at a time (thank you Mr. and Mrs. Tan). Margaux currently works in investments in Denver. You can usually find her baking brownies with her boyfriend Jowy or having the time of her LIFE at a good concert.

Julianne Calhoun

Matron of Honor

The day Julianne took the new kid under her wing in fourth grade was the day she became stuck with me for the rest of her life. From going to our first Taylor Swift concert together at 12 years old to watching terrible romcom movies over Facetime, I just adore being in Jules' presence. She's a registered dietitian at University of Maryland Medical Center, but her best secret talent is her photography. All the engagement pictures you see on this website are taken by HER!!!

Lana Balansag

Bridesmaid

Due to a mix-up by the dorm our freshman year at Andrews, Lana accidentally moved into the room next to mine instead of becoming my roommate. That didn't stop us from becoming friends though, and my Andrews experience would be VASTLY different without Lana's presence and energy in it. Lana lives in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and is an aspiring flight attendant!

Megan Bush

Bridesmaid

Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to be friends with people who have the same name as you. Megan and I share more than a name--for me, she is the definition of twin flame. You can always find us laughing about something that nobody else will get. Just like Jake, I met Megan in Spain during my study abroad year. She's currently in Indiana, where she is graduating nursing school in August!

Alexandra Courtright

Bridesmaid

I also met Alex in Spain during my year abroad, but it wasn't until the year was over that we actually got close! You can talk with her about anything and everything. Her endless generosity and down-for-anything attitude make her the best at long-distance friendships--and she's a great party host to boot. She's currently in Colorado Springs as a nurse.

Jade Draper

Bridesmaid

Jade and I officially met as bridesmaids for Julianne's wedding in 2020. When I moved to Maryland for my first job in 2021, I needed a roommate. I reached out to Jade since she was in the area, and thank GOD she said yes. We quickly became good friends (phew), and I'm so happy that we're roommates once again in Chicago. Jade is an aspiring publishing professional like me, and you won't find anyone better with words than her.

Hannah Miller

Bridesmaid

Hannah is another one of my Spain girls, and she's always a breath of fresh air. Her sharp wit will catch you off guard in the best possible way. My hardest laughs have been because of her! Hannah is an occupational therapist in Colorado, but her other job is being the best mom to her pugs Harvey and Kenobi (and I would give my life for them).

Caroline Smith

Bridesmaid

Caroline and I met in...you guessed it, Spain! Can you tell Spain was a very crucial part of my life? Caro is the smartest, most hard-working, most selfless person I know. She's the type of friend that will drive five hours at the last minute just to come help you move into your new apartment (spoken from experience). Always pretty in pink, Caro is graduating this May as a lawyer from Case Western in Cleveland! She is the EPITOME of Legally Blonde.

Kevin Cummings

Best Man

After lying to Kevin's face asking him if he could room with my "friend" freshman year up at Walla Walla University, I only told the truth (that my "friend" was actually me) after he said yes. It's a lie I don't regret. Kevin and I grew an inestimable amount of chemistry that year forward, and I don't think I share more jokes that make zero sense with anyone else in my life. Kevin currently lives in Chico, CA with his wife and works as a physical therapist.

Lucian Lazureanu

Best Man

This guy asked me to be his friend with an eraser in 5th grade, and even though that was an awkward start, I found myself always spending the summer days at his house. From learning basic Romanian to learning how to dive at his aunt's house, Lucian and I shared both our time and our short-lived hyperfixations together, though the ones that stuck are espresso and video games. Lucian is a dentist living in Loma Linda with his wife and dog that won't stop barking when I come over!

Ethan Simler

Groomsman

Out of all of these fools, I think I knew Ethan first. Dating back to 4th grade, Ethan was the kid in Pathfinders who you couldn't ignore (literally, he was very loud). Fast-forward to our college years, summers at his house would be the home base where we would play card games, get coffee, or mess with his dog. Ethan is currently practicing law in Sacramento, living with his 2 dogs, 2 cats, and his wife.

Corbin Edelbach

Groomsman

Corbin is the guy that never stops, always has something to do, never writes things down, but still remembers everything and has time to hang out with a friend. We spent a majority of our freshman year in his dorm room making his neighbors angry pulling pranks, and that led to us being housemates as upperclassmen at Walla Walla. Corbin is currently working in investments for Loma Linda University and living with his wife and scotty dog.

Nathan Skeoch

Groomsman

Skeoch and I were housemates in Walla Walla and man. I think our relationship is one like no other in the sense that things don’t make sense to others when we are together. No one picks up on jokes or reads nuances in a room like Nathan, and I have always found comfort in his sarcasm and humor. Nathan is graduating this year with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University.

Timothy Wheeler

Groomsman

Tim was one of my closet friends. Tim was my most whole-hearted friend. Tim was the person who always checked in on me and knew when I was not doing well. Tim was a person I wanted to spend this special day with because he’s been rooting for Megan and me for as long as he knew us together. He was my housemate and boss when I worked as a referee in college, and he was also my housemate during my years at Loma Linda. I can never have a conversation with anyone like I did with Tim--his sports knowledge and opinions went unmatched and well-heard. I love you brother.
