Big Sky Connect On-Demand Shuttle

Although there are not many Ubers/Lyfts in Big Sky, they offer a free on-demand shuttle service that gets you around town. It runs from 6am - 11pm. We recommend downloading the app! They can pick up and drop off all over town (even drops off right at our wedding venue) As a reminder, we will be providing shuttles to and from the wedding venue! (check our schedule tab for shuttle pickup/drop off details)

Hotel

Residence Inn Big Sky/The Wilson Hotel

PLEASE BOOK YOUR HOTEL THROUGH THE LINK BELOW TO GET OUR RATE :) It is MUCH cheaper than going directly through the hotel website. This hotel is in the heart of restaurants and bars in Big Sky. We have reserved a room block at this hotel from Friday July 24th - Sunday July 27th. If you want to come earlier/stay longer, contact the front desk directly at 406-995-9000 to make your reservations and they will apply the discounted nightly wedding rate to your additional days. It is 12 minutes to the venue & is walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops & coffee shops + more! We will be running a shuttle from here to the venue on the day of the wedding!

Flight

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN)

For those of you coming from the east coast / traveling from afar, we recommend flying into Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. It is a quick 1 hour drive along the scenic Gallatin Gateway Highway to Big Sky. There are plenty of direct flights into Bozeman.

West Yellowstone Airport (WYS)

West Yellowstone airport is a small airport located 50 min outside of Big Sky. It has very limited flights in and out. They do direct flights from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) roughly 2 times a day, so if you are coming from SLC and do not want to drive, this would be a good option for you! Those coming from out of state can also fly into here but it will be a guaranteed layover in Salt Lake City. Just another option!

House Or Rental

VRBO Rental

VRBO is a great option if you want to stay in a condo or house. We started to collect all of our favorites (click the button below). Our suggestion is to look for options right in the Big Sky Meadow Village which is right in the heart of downtown Big Sky and near the Wilson Hotel (where the shuttles will pick up and drop off for the wedding day) Please note there are a lot of VRBO options up at Big Sky Mountain Village (Big Sky Resort) just realize this area is about 10 minutes up the road from the Wilson Hotel and the venue! There is plenty of public parking in downtown Big Sky and around the Wilson Hotel so you can leave your car there and jump on the shuttle.

Airbnb Rentals

Red Cliff Campground

This campground is a great option if you would like to bring your camper or a tent. Please note there are bathrooms but no showers at the campsite. (you will be right next to the Gallatin river which does the trick for some people!) PLEASE TEXT JEFF OR I TO CONFIRM YOU ARE CAMPING SO WE CAN ASSIGN YOU A SPOT WE HAVE RESERVED. We have reserved a handful of spots at the campground. The campground is located right off the Gallatin Gateway highway and right next to the river! It is about a 5 minute drive from the venue and about 13 minutes to the Downtown Big Sky & about 20 minutes to Big Sky Resort.

Rental Car

Rental Cars

Highly recommend renting a car if you are flying from out of town! There are a lot of rental car options from the Bozeman airport. Although there will be a shuttle for the day of the wedding we recommend a car so you can get around and see Big Sky/surrounding areas as well as getting to and from the airport. There are no Ubers/Lyfts in Big Sky, they do run town shuttles (more details on this below) but again we suggest renting a car if you are flying in!

Driving to Big Sky

If you plan to make the drive to Big Sky, it is about a 5 hour & 20 min drive from SLC. It is super easy and pretty along the way. We have made the drive many times and it is our preferred way to get there if you are traveling from SLC!
