WHERE TO STAY:
We have multiple hotels and links to courtesy rates listed below. All hotels are near downtown Boise. There are plenty of Uber/Lyft options in Boise if you do not want to rent a car.
There are lots of great Airbnb and Vrbo options near the city. Our recommendations:
Near downtown: You will be close to the Greenbelt, a beautiful walking path along the Boise River and have options of grocery stores, bars, restaurants, shopping, etc.
The North End: You will be near the foothills, Camel's Back Park, and Hyde Park (a cute, small street tucked in a neighborhood with lots of fun bars, restaurants, shopping, and breweries).
The East End: You will also be near the foothills and lots of good hiking access, including Table Rock, one of the best hikes to look over the city. You are also within a mile of the Greenbelt.
Southeast Boise is also a great option!
