Boise River Greenbelt
The Greenbelt is one of our FAVORITE places to walk, bike, or scoot in Boise. It includes 29 miles of paved path along both sides of the Boise River. You access the path near downtown Boise and take it to different breweries, wineries, restaurants, or bars, including Payette Brewing, Telaya Winery, the Sandbar Bar & Grill, Caffè Luciano, Push & Pour Coffee, and Green Acre's Food Truck Park (if open). Rent a bike a different locations in Boise or find a Lime scooter or bike.
Golf
The weather in the Midwest may not be warm enough for golfing, but it should be out here! Hiking areas around Boise
Table Rock Trail - One of the most popular trails in Boise. It is around 4 miles with a decently steep incline, but worth it for the views over the city! (You can drive up to this area also if you would prefer!) There are mutiple trails around Camel's Back Park, Hulls Gulch Reserve, and Military Reserve. Look at these areas in the AllTrails app or Ridge to Rivers trail system website for further information on difficulty, length, and directions!
Hiking around Bogus Basin
If you want to take a drive up Bogus Basin road, a 16 mile winding paved road toward Bogus Basin Ski Resort, there a multiple more challenging hikes off the road that give beautiful views of the forest, city, and mountains. These hikes do depend on the weather, as some may still be cover in snow. Hot Springs
Idaho is known for its incredible hot springs! If you are planning to stay for a few days, have a rental car, and are up for an adventure, we would highly recommend you take a road trip to check them out! Some of our favorites are listed below: Trail Creek Hot Springs - There is not a specific address, but if you type this into your maps or google it, you should find directions. The springs are located right off of Warm Lake Road outside of Cascade, ID. It is a very short, but someone steep walk down to the springs. Gold Fork Hot Springs - 1026 Gold Fork Rd, Donnelly, ID 83615. These hot springs are more developed, but contain natural spring water. They are very family friendly!
