Wilmington To Do

Jeff & I fell in love with Wilmington because of all it has to offer!
We are getting married in the historic downtown area, packed full with restaurants, bars, breweries, local shopping, and lots of beautiful historic homes and scenic spots. Pictured above is the almost 2 mile boardwalk we love to visit on the cape fear river.
It's hard to pick places to share in the downtown because of how many we like, but some of our favorites walkable places include:
-For Coffee: Java Dog Coffee House, Hidden Grounds, Drift Coffee
-For Shopping: the historic Cotton Exchange (30 specialty shops in a building that reflects the city's 19th-century port history), Chandler's Wharf Warehouse Shops, Old Wilmington City Market
-For Eating/Drinking: Rebellion, Prost Biergarten, Ponysaurus Brewing, Savard, Beer Barrio, Flytrap Brewing
If you have a rental, we can't forget to mention South Front District (5 minutes) for Bennys, The Cargo District (10 min away), & Wrightsville beach (20 minutes away)!
