Flight
Reno (RNO) is the closest airport to our venue and can be a convenient option depending on where you're flying from. There are direct flights to Reno from Minneapolis (MSP), San Diego, Los Angeles (LAX), and New York. If you're coming from Boston, just note that there aren’t any direct flights to Reno, you’ll need to connect through another city. In that case, Sacramento might be a better option, especially with JetBlue offering nonstop service and typically cheaper rental cars. Flight
If you're planning to fly, San Francisco (SFO) is a great airport option with many direct flights from major cities, making it a convenient choice. We typically fly in and out of SFO because of the wide range of airlines and flight times available. Reno is the closest airport to us, but may require a connection depending on where you're coming from. Let us know if you need any help with travel plans, we're happy to assist!
Hotel
There are plenty of Airbnbs available throughout the Tahoe area, with options at a wide range of prices and sizes. We’ll be staying in Tahoe City (reach out for address!), where there are quite a few Airbnbs nearby, but great choices can also be found in Olympic Valley and Truckee. Each of these areas is within about a 15–20 minute drive of one another, making them all convenient spots to stay.

We’ll be staying in an Airbnb in Tahoe City, and a preferred hotel option is the Boatworks Inn, since it’s located right in downtown Tahoe City. It’s within walking distance of our rehearsal dinner, close to plenty of restaurants, and just steps from the lake. The wedding venue is about a 15-minute drive from Tahoe City. Transportation is TBD.

It’s more affordable, within walking distance of our rehearsal dinner spot, close to plenty of restaurants, and just a short stroll to the lake. The wedding venue is about a 15-minute drive from Tahoe City. Transportation is TBD.

Granlibakken Tahoe is a lodge-style resort just a few minutes from downtown Tahoe City. It offers a variety of accommodations, from standard hotel rooms to larger suites and townhomes, making it a flexible option for groups or families. It’s close to restaurants and the lake, about 15 minutes from the wedding venue, and still convenient to Tahoe City and Olympic Valley.

The Village at Palisades is a great option for those who want to stay right in Olympic Valley. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Tahoe City and around 15 minutes from the wedding venue. The Village offers condo-style accommodations with plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities right outside your door.

We won’t be staying in Truckee, but the SpringHill Suites is another great option to consider. It’s about 20 minutes from both the wedding venue and Tahoe City. Truckee itself is a charming mountain town with lots of housing options, and since everyone loves a Marriott, we wanted to include this choice as well.
