We’re doing the damn thing!

Our story begins on the very first day of college in August 2016 at the University of New Hampshire. We met in Christensen Hall, where Zoey was rollerblading through the halls and Jeff came right up to introduce himself as a DJ. From that moment on, we hit it off and became fast friends. In fact, Jeff is still saved as “DJ Jeff” in Zoey’s phone from that very first day. Throughout college, we built an incredible friend group and made so many unforgettable memories. By sophomore year, our friendship had grown into something more, and we’ve been together ever since. One of our biggest adventures came when we decided to study abroad in Barcelona with some of our closest friends. That experience sparked a deep love for travel and exploring new places together. After graduating, we moved to Boston, where Zoey joined Jeff and his roommates and quickly became part of the household, living her own version of “New Girl.” As we settled into working remote jobs, we started dreaming of a new chapter and made the move to San Diego with a few friends. We fell in love with California and the lifestyle it offered, but over time we found ourselves missing the mountains and the seasons. That pull led us to Lake Tahoe, where we’ve spent the past year and a half hiking, skiing, backpacking, and soaking in the beauty of the lake and surrounding mountains. It didn’t take long for us to realize this place felt like home. We love it here so much that we couldn’t imagine starting our next chapter anywhere else. We are so excited to celebrate our wedding in Tahoe and share this special place with the people we love most. We hope our family and friends enjoy the landscape and the magic we’ve been lucky enough to experience during our time here.
