Are kids allowed?
Answer
While we love your kids, we respectfully ask that any guests that are attending be 18 or over. However, we are making an exception for the wedding party & those helping only.

How do I get to and from the venue?
Answer
While you’ll need to plan your own way from Portland to Government Camp, once there, there will be a shuttle between three different pickup/drop-off locations (Collins Lake Resort, the Best Western, and the Grand Lodges) and the venue running every 30 minutes until midnight. If you're driving, you can enter Mt. Hood Skiwbowl West 87000 US-26 Government Camp, OR 97028 (Please DON'T confuse this with the East entrance) Everything from the ski lift, reception, shuttle bus, etc., will be within walking distance from the parking lot. Just heads towards the main lodge and there will be signs.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! The parking lot is adjacent to the main lodges of Skibowl West. They have access directly from the parking lot to the reception site. This is where the shuttle will pick up and drop off as well. Parking is free. *Skibowl is not liable for lost or stolen items.
Question
I heard there will be a chair lift and alpine slide at the venue. What if I don’t want to ride them?
Answer
The chair lifts will take guests up to the ceremony and the slide will let you have a (fun) slide down back to the main reception area. However, if you are not comfortable (or unable) doing either, there will be a shuttle that will take you between the reception and ceremony areas.

There will be restrooms both at the ceremony and reception areas.

What’s the weather like at that time of the year?
Answer
July is very nice and you can expect sunny skies and temperature in the mid 70s (although it could be much hotter). However, nights could still be chilly so bring a jacket.

We will have both vegetarian and meat options, but if you have any further dietary restrictions, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate!
