Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, San Juan (SJU), Puerto Rico

We recommend looking at flights 6 months in advance. We recommend flying in from Tuesday-Thursday, this is when you get the best price of fare as well as the airport is relatively clear. The airport is approximately 45 to 1 hour from the venue and the recommended hotel.

Travel Note

HOLA Transportation Service

For those who do not plan on renting a car or are undecided. Uber or a private service is recommended from the Airport to the Hotel. We are very familiar with this accommodating company, and encourage them as an option. From the Airport to the Las Palmas Resort the fare is $95. Target Rent a Car - Palmas del Mar

For those who may be traveling late at night or don't want the initial hassle of renting a car at the airport, We recommend chauffeuring or taking an Uber from the airport to the Hotel. From there, the hotel has an onsite car rental service. This is also a great option for those who's real adventure starts after the wedding weekend.

Complimentary Roundtrip Chauffer from Hotel to Venue

We will be offering a complimentary chauffeur for our guest who would prefer not to rent a car. It is on a first come sign up basis, so as your arranging your travel accommodations please keep this in mind. The service will leave from a central location within the Palmas Del Mar community. Primary Recommendation: Wyndham Candelero Beach Resort

This is a beautiful resort, is located within a private community (more like small city) called Palmas Del Mar, that'll have everything you need from groceries to excursions. You can go golfing, play tennis, snorkel, ride horses on the beach, and more! You can rent a golf cart to explore the community for as low as $20/day. It is approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the venue location.

Rentals: Palmas del Mar

If you prefer a more private stay or prefer to get a Villa to share with other guest rather than staying in a hotel, then this is a list of properties we have combed through and curated for you. In this Air BNB link, you’ll find condos and residences inside the Palmas Del Mar Community. This means you’ll have access to friends and family that may stay at the hotel, access to similar amenities, within a 15 minutes drive from the venue, or you can still catch the shuttle to the venue from the central location! This list includes private 1 bedroom stays as low as $68/night or stays large enough for a party of 10 people. Most host are English speakers, but if you come across a language barrier we’d be glad to help!

Rentals: Yabucoa

Any of these rentals, we will be essentially in the same town, and you’ll be at the venue steps within 5-15 minutes. Unfortunately, there isn’t a large amount of openings in this category, but there are some gems! One is house a street or two over from us, ocean front, and sleeps 7 for $170/night. There is also some single person stays for as low as $50/night, and even a larger party ocean-front stay in this list. A gentle reminder, though you’ll be close by you’ll need to arrange your own transportation.

Rentals: Punta Santiago & Humacao

Though these are not located inside the same community as those who stay within the hotel community (Palmas Del Mar), they are located in the same greater town. Therefore, it’ll be easy to meet up/ follow directions. You’re looking at about 15-25 minutes of a commute. Listings vary from $51-$525, many with private pools or beach access, all within familiar and recommended neighborhoods!
