Nope! Puerto Rico is a US territory; therefore, all that is needed to board the plane is a valid ID. Please make sure your ID is up to date if you have not flown recently. Airports now require all passengers to have a "Real ID" which is just a federally standardized variation of your ID/driver's license.
We ask all guest RSVP by December 11, 2021. This is 6 months prior to the event and is also when we recommend booking your travel arrangements, We understand that with such a trip, sometimes things are up in the air, but we ask you send us a 'maybe' and keep in close contact.
Due to our limited guest facilities and accommodations, we are not having little ones. Thank you for understanding and respecting this decision as it was not made lightly. We ask that if you have a question regarding plus ones/additional guest beyond those noted on your respective RSVP account, please contact us promptly. We will try our best to accommodate to such inquiries; however, we cannot guarantee space/resources to permit additional guest.
Of course Puerto Rico is a tropical paradise; which means we enjoy beautiful weather, but there are a few things that we'd urge you to consider:--> Sun screen. This is no average sun; especially on a clear day because there's nothing to filter it out. The Puerto Rican sun will even cause the tannest person to burn and peel. And if you're not careful, it'll cause sun sickness.--> Above considered, please bring a hat. You'll notice the locals even where the biggest of hats, so if you don't want to travel with buy a great one here!--> Rain is always to be expected. We will do our best to keep you covered, but please note in Puerto Rico it is very typical to experience short and powerful burst of rain; after all we are home to the only rainforest in all the Caribbean. We pray for a sun-shiny day, but we prepare for potential 10 minute storms to accompany the sunshine. -->Lastly, bring your bug spray. Once again, we'll try to keep you covered, but you can never have too much here!
We would like to consider this a semi-formal, festive attire event. For ladies opt for light colors and fabrics for a sunset event. Try a below-the-knee dress or a dressy skirt and top. An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate. There will be some walking on a lawn, so we recommend wedges, a chunky hill, or a flat. For men, we recommend light colored dress clothing with a optional tie. For both we'd love to see neutrals paired with bold colors and playful accessories. But most of all we'd love to see YOU, so please come in something you feel comfortable in.
Jharen and Jedidah will be wed at 4:15 PM promptly, so we recommend finding your seat around 3:45 PM.
There will be plenty of onsite parking for everyone; however, the roads can be narrow and tricky so we do recommend carpooling if that is an option for you. We'd be glad to recommend other guest to coordinate with as well.
We will already be accommodating to those with shellfish allergies as well as those with halal dietary restrictions. If your allergy is outside this scope, please let us know in the Additional Questions Form so we can make proper accommodations.
