We recommend making hotel reservations ASAP. The longer you wait, the more expensive the rates will become. If you are unsure or unable to pay the hotel right now, DON'T WORRY! There is an option when making a reservation that allows you to pay your reservation the day you get to the resort, that way you have more time to save that money but at least you have your reservation booked!
If you don't have permanent residence, citizenship, or any kind of visas from the USA, Canada, or the UK, you may need a visitor's visa to enter Mexico. Ideally, we would appreciate if guests could confirm their attendance by October 2024, as we need to make arrangements with the resort during that time. This also allows ample time for planning and securing travel arrangements. However, if you're unsure by then, please contact us, and we'll work something out together.
The hotel provides a shuttle service that runs every 10 minutes, making it easy to get around the complex.

The Barceló complex offers a variety of activities and amenities to enhance your stay. Each tier features specialty restaurants with fine dining, so we recommend making reservations as soon as you check in. The complex also has various paid activities like bowling, escape rooms, a water park, mini golf, and a surf ride, all located at the "Maya Mall." We definitely recommend checking these out. Additionally, snorkelling is a must—bring your own snorkelling equipment (if you have) to avoid any time limitations.

The resort has several shops where you can purchase any essentials, though prices may be higher than usual. About a 10-minute drive from Barceló, there's a small mall with a grocery shop, called Multiplaza Puerto Aventura, where prices are more reasonable. This mall has a variety of stores, so you can find anything you might be missing. If you need specific items, feel free to reach out to us for recommendations.
It truly depends on what you want, It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a more fancy and higher-end place with premium drinks, more options for à la carte restaurants, and additional pools, we recommend the Maya Palace. If you prefer more affordable options, the other hotels (Beach, Caribe, Colonial, tropical.) also offer pools, beaches, and all-inclusive food and drinks.
