Things To Do

We truly appreciate you making the journey to Boston to celebrate with us! We'd love to share a few of our favorite places to visit while you're in town:

Boston Duck Tours, Museum of Science

1 Museum Of Science Driveway, Boston, MA 02114
, (617) 267-3825

Is it a bus tour? Is it a boat tour? It's both! Ride around the city we call home, passing some of Boston's most historic sites, before getting on the Charles River. Conveniently, the duck boats leave from the Museum of Science, where we're getting married :)

Bova's Bakery

134 Salem Street, Boston, MA 02113
, (617) 523-5601

At this tiny neighborhood bakery, you can find our FAVORITE cannolis in all of Boston. Get the Florentine. Get another one. And then eat your way through the neighborhood (the North End is Boston's Little Italy).

Fenway Park

4 Jersey Street, Boston, MA 02215
, (877) 733-7699

Tour America's oldest baseball stadium or maybe even see the Red Sox play (they're playing Baltimore on Friday, Sept 8 and Sept 10 at home, and the Yankees on Monday, Sept. 11!) Hot tip: There's a bar underneath the stadium called Bleacher Bar.

The Freedom Trail

Boston Common, Boston, MA 02114

The ultimate walking tour of Boston! Start at the Boston Common and follow the red brick trail that takes you past Boston's most historic sites, including the State House and the Old North Church. You can book a guided tour or download the free app on your phone and DIY. P.S. it takes you pretty close to Beacon Hill, our neighborhood!

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

25 Evans Way, Boston, MA 02115
, (617) 566-1401

Our favorite museum in Boston (if you've visited, we probably took you here)! It's set in an ornate Italianate palace with a beautiful interior garden that we think is almost better than the artwork. There are several documentaries on Netflix about an art heist that happened in the 1990s — they never filled the frames of the missing artwork! P.S. the Museum of Fine Arts is nearby and it's also AMAZING.

Boston Public Garden

4 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02116
, (617) 635-4505

Take a swan boat ride here, see the "Make Way for Ducklings" and George Washington statues, and stroll through some beautiful flora. This is our favorite spot to picnic and walk Sadie!

Newbury Street

Newbury Street, Boston, MA

For all those who like to shop, welcome to Boston's version of Fifth Avenue. There are all types of high end designers, small boutiques, and cool places to eat on this street, and the adjacent street (Commonwealth Ave) is a beautiful tree-lined ave for a stroll, too.

Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum

306 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210
, (617) 338-1773

A fun (and to be honest, kinda cheesy but we love it) historical reenactment of the Boston Tea Party on Boston Harbor. DO NOT MISS a lobster roll at James Hook Co. across the way before your tour.

Museum of Science

1 Museum Of Science Driveway, Boston, MA 02114
, (617) 723-2500

This one is near and dear to our hearts — we're getting married here :) Whether you like dinosaurs, botanical gardens, learning about lightning, or natural history, this is the spot. There's a big T-Rex outside. Can't miss it. All guests will get free tickets for the weekend of the wedding! The duck boat tours leave from here too.

For all the days along the way
