Leslie and Sonya met in graduate school and instantly hit it off. They shared many late nights working on projects and perfecting their bloody mary recipe. Leslie and Sonya also work together, so they see an awful lot of each other. When they're not working, they're exploring other museums (shocker), finding new breweries to try, and listening to their favorite 70s folk albums while laying in hammocks.

Jason and Alex grew up down the street from each other. From skateboarders, to bandmates, to pretentious college bros, to semi-functional adults, they've been together through it all.
Kellie Buchanan

Kellie has known Sonya since her literal birth since they are sisters. Kellie once held a toddler Sonya upside down over a flight of stairs. Aside from that, she's an excellent sister that is always willing to listen to Sonya to complain and give her a solid dose of reality. They always manage to get into mischief together, be it Black Friday shopping or pedicures.

Jason met Davis in college through their economics classes. They became fast friends through their shared love of all things nerdy and their rabid Carolina fandom. These days they enjoy a refreshing adult beverage while their dogs run around together chaotically.
Shauna Sallinger

Shauna and Sonya met in middle school gym class and have been friends ever since. Shauna has spent the last 15 years of their friendship trying to teach Sonya to golf, which has gone miserably. Together they have run several 5k's, a mud run, and two half-marathons. Shauna never ceases to make Sonya laugh and they usually spend time together drinking way too much iced coffee.
Gage Owens

Jason and Gage knew each other in high school, when they both played in heavy metal bands, but they became good friends many years later as adults. They still share a love of writing and recording music, though thankfully their tastes have improved.
Laney and Morgan Buchanan

Laney and Morgan are Sonya's nieces and two of the best gifts of her life. They are funny, creative, stubborn, and give the best hugs in the world. If you've known Sonya for any length of time, you've probably heard more stories about "Bug" and "Lou" than you'd ever want to.
Ethan Laney

Jason met Ethan some time after he started dating Sonya, and Ethan has graciously accepted Jason's intrusion into his family. They both enjoy a fine bourbon, and Jason suspects this may also contribute to Ethan's tolerance of him.
