Katie Valencia
Matron of Honor
Katie is Kellie's sister and in addition to matroning honorably, she, along with her husband Andrew, will also be generously providing the ring bearer and flower girl for the wedding. Katie and her family live in Fredricksburg, VA which is way too far from California...but they make it back to visit often. Katie is the best sister Kellie has ever had.
Amy Hall
Best Woman
Amy is Jason's sister who lives outside of Chicago, IL. At a young age, she realized that she could manipulate Jason, a thin child whose mother always worried about him gaining enough weight, to get pizza for dinner whenever she wanted. Amy is the best sister Jason has ever had.
Aiden Valencia
Ring Bearer
Kellie's nephew Aiden is six years old and will be a recent kindergarten graduate by the time the wedding rolls around. He is hands-down the biggest Star Wars fan in the wedding party and very excited that the wedding will be on "Star Wars Day", May the Fourth (be with you). His current hobbies include horse jumping, karate and anything else involving being a daredevil.
Amelia Valencia
Flower Girl
Kellie's niece Amelia will be almost a year and a half (technically 16 months for all the pediatricians out there) at the wedding and is excited to show off such developmental milestones as walking (or running) down the aisle, stacking 3 blocks, and speaking up to 15 words.
Lisa Moore
Mother of the Bride
Lisa is a Ventura, CA native and currently lives in the same house she grew up in. In between her time in Ventura she lived in Long Beach, CA for long enough to meet Kellie's dad on a blind date, raise two intelligent and beautiful daughters, and work as a pre-school director before moving back to Ventura in 2017.
David Moore
Father of the Bride
Dave is not a native of anywhere as he grew up in a military family; and although he was born in Yokohama, Japan; he would probably call Douglas, AZ his hometown. He met Lisa after his parents had moved to California for the third(?) time and actually spent his kindergarten years in Port Hueneme, CA about 15 miles down the coast from Ventura. Dave is a jack-of-all-trades and has worked as a grocery clerk, a real estate agent, airline baggage handler and city bus driver.
Sheila Shaw
Mother of the Groom
Sheila is a native of Flint, MI, raising two intelligent and beautiful children in Bay City, MI who she then sent off to become Spartans (GO GREEN!!! GO WHITE!!!). Having retired from her position as an assistant to the county clerk she now spends her days mocking her younger boyfriend Bob for still having to work the daily grind.
David Shaw
Father of the Groom
Dave was born in Armada, MI. He was trained as a diesel mechanic and helped coach Jason's little league teams. Sadly Jason's dad passed away in 1989 and in addition to Jason and his sister Amy, he is also survived by Jason's two older brothers, David and Jeremy.
Robert Kline
Father of the Groom
Bob is a Bay City, MI native with a thirst for anything Hawaiian. After he retires later this year he and Sheila will escape the Midwest to the Big Island. At that time he plans to become the best Mai Tai bartender the islands have ever seen.
Michelle Aulik
Wedding Planner
Michelle, Jason's (and now Kellie's) friend, despite having no prior experience in wedding planning, is the reason we have a wedding to go to in May. She has put in countless hours for over a year to bring this whole thing together. She lives in Spokane, WA but if anyone needs a wedding planner in Ventura, she has learned the industry inside and out. She also is a professional genealogist in her free time, which now that this wedding is almost over, should increase dramatically. Thanks for everything Michelle!
