Matron of Honor
Yessenia, AKA Yessi, and Becky met during their freshmen year at Texas A&M while pledging SLG. During their time together at A&M, they would go to Chili’s for their chocolate molten cake, roadtrip across Texas, and a few times Yessi tried to feed Becky tuna (Becky would say no to tuna). Since graduating from A&M, Becky enjoys crashing at Yessi place for free whenever she’s in the Dallas area (thanks Yessi and JC!) Yessi will be accompanied by her husband, Juan Carlos, and their three children Patricia, Mateo, and Sebastian.
Richard Willam the Third
Best Man
Richard William the third, AKA Rich or Ricky. Rich and Jason met in 2006 while they were both stationed at Aviano Air Base in Italy. Rich and Jason traveled extensively through Italy and the rest of Europe together while sometimes imbibing the local wine and beer. After their time gallivanting through Europe came to an end, Rich and Jason have kept and touch and try to see each other often. Jason has been a terrible friend and not visited Ricky and family while they are stationed in Germany. Rich will be accompanied by his better half Janet, and their two kids Alyssandra and Richard William the fourth.
Ara
Bridesmaid
Ara and Becky met at Texas A&M. They didn’t like each other at first because Ara thought Becky was mean and Becky thought Ara was a snitch. However, they both ended up choosing the same major and minor. Eventually they started talking since they had half of their classes together and became friends. In the years since meeting, Ara and Becky have had near death experiences in Argentina, on top of the Guadalupe Mountain and just generally when Ara is behind the wheel. Ara will be accompanied by her husband Dario and their daughter Danielle.
Mark
Groomsman
Mark and Jason met playing hockey in El Paso, Texas, (yes El Paso has hockey, or Jason would not live here). At first, Jason was an asshole and yelled at Mark for slashing him on the ice. After a while, Jason decided Mark wasn’t such a bad guy and they can often be found having breakfast at L and J’s on Saturday mornings. Mark is a frequent target of Jason’s passes on the ice, after which Mark usually shoots the puck straight into the goalie. Mark is unfortunately a Philadelphia Flyers fan, but we try not to hold that against him. Mark will be accompanied by his wife Margaret.
Aly
Flower Girl
Alyssandra, AKA Aly is the daughter of Rich and Janet. Aly best knows Jason as a jungle gym, occasional dance partner, and the jerk who has the audacity to send her books for Christmas.
Patricia
Flower Girl
Patricia is the daughter of Yessenia and JC. Patricia used to give Becky the side eyed whenever she would go visit but she’s warmed up to her now. Patricia has been preparing for this wedding by giving Becky a fashion show on potential dresses she would like to wear for the big day.
William
Ring Bearer
Richard William the fourth, AKA William. William is the son of Rich and Janet. William once decked Jason in the face, it was even more hilarious than it sounds. The little shit has a damn good right hook.
Mateo
Ring Bearer
Mateo is son of Yessenia and Juan Carlos. He enjoys taking naps and hanging out at museums with his Aunt Becky.
