Brandon is actually my cousin, but to call him a cousin would be very disrespectful. We grew up in the same house, went to the same schools and he bullied the hell out of me when we were kids lol. He's my big brother that I’ve always looked up to. I always wanted to follow him and play the game with him even though he never let me. Now as grown men, I could not see myself getting married without him being here to share this day.
Williams Rhodes

Just like Brandon, William is also my big brother/cousin. He has always been my protector and I would call him if anybody bothered me. He's the guy that everybody loves and brings everyone together. I can't wait for him to be apart of our big day.
Dre Jones

Dre and I have known each other as early as Kindergarten at Bishop Heights Elementary. We both grew up together in the same neighborhood but became good friends in Mrs. Singleton's 4th grade class at Alta Mesa Learning Center. Even after transferring and moving to a different part of Dallas, Dre and I remained close friends over the years. One of the longest and best friends I've ever had. I couldn't see myself doing this without him up there with me.
Vincent "P.J." McNeil, Jr.

P.J. has been one of my earliest friends as well. We grew up in Highland Hills and went to elementary school and Turnkey Boys and Girls Club together. We rode the bus together and PJ always shared his pepperoni hot pockets with me. lol. We also went to lived in the same town while we we're in college. He's a person that I love and appreciate greatly and its an honor to have him serve as one of my groomsmen.
Torrence "Ty Ty" Hayslett

Ty Ty and I grew up together as well. I originally met him because our older brothers were best friends and we also went to school together and went to the Boys and Girls Club. He's been a great friend, more like family. I'm excited to have my boy Ty to be apart.
Auriel “Aurie” Powell

Auriel and I are sisters. We are two years apart. Ian the oldest. Growing up, our mom always dressed us alike, but that never stopped us from going at each other’s heads. Auriel is funny, sweet and my own personal nerve racker, but I wouldn’t trade my little sister for anything in the world. I found my mister but I still need my sister. She is not just my sister, she is my best friend.
Carl A. Dockery, III

Carl is hands down one of the best friends that I have and he is also my Line Brother. I always tell the joke of how I met Carl for the first time. We went to Jarvis Christian College together and we pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity together. We lived in the same dorm across the hall from each other and he knocked on my door and asked if I was going to the interest meeting for Alpha and I told him yes. I then said this is the most proper speaking person I've ever met. After that, we became boys for life. I stood next to him while he got married a few years ago and I'm excited to have him stand beside me.
Antionette “Toni” Rhodes

Antionette “Toni” and I have grown close over these past couple of years. She is hilarious, feisty and full of energy. She was my sister before she became my sister.

Jarett Powell is Jasmine's younger brother but I've officially taken him and he's now become my brother. He is the little brother that I never had. He's the person that can liven up any room that he steps into. The day would not complete without his comedy and theatrics.
Brendon Jones

Brendon aka "Jones" is a friend that I recently met. He's a true example of the ideal timelines mean nothing in a true friendship. We both started new jobs together at Reed Middle School in Duncanville and on the first day we realized we were both members of Alpha Phi Alpha and the rest was history. We teach the same subject so we work together a lot and get into a lot of hilarious adventures. Usually when you see one, you see the other. Always having each other's back through many rough times, its only right that I have Jones and his wise counsel and guidance on the big day.
Jeffrey Cooper

Jeff and I are line brothers in Alpha Phi Alpha as well. Initially, I did not like this guy at all. But after pledging together, I realized he's one of the best people that I've ever known. He's the guy that brings us all together and then curses us out and then love us all at the same time. He's a great friend who I wouldn't want to celebrate my big day without.
Leonard "Leo" Wiltz, Jr.

Leo is a great friend that I've known since my freshman year in college. This guy is hilarious and will say the first thing that comes to mind. He's a great friend, father, and brother who's one of the smartest people I know. He's my friend that lives in Houston but will show up on my porch in Dallas on a random day throughout the week.
Anthony Washington

Hailing from the State of California, Anthony is a great friend of mine and we met my freshman year at Jarvis as well. We lived in a dorm across the hall from each other as well. During college Carl, Anthony, and I shared an apartment and had some great times. In fact, I played matchmaker and introduced Anthony to a girl who eventually became his wife. He's been here in Texas since college and has become an official Texan.
John Achar

John is my line brother that always reminds everyone he's from Los Angeles. We for sure have a love hate relationship because of his "can't live with him, can't live without him" vibe. John is a little guy with a big personality who I am excited to have him be apart of my day. The official party animal, whistle man, is perfect to add some "lit-ness" to this wedding.
Kierra “Kiki” Robinson

Kierra “KiKi” and I have known each other since our freshmen year at Jarvis Christian College. At first I thought she did not like me. But as time passed, our friendship started to grow. We have been friends for almost 10 plus years and counting. Kierra always gives me a good laugh and is always down for the cause. My day would not be complete without her there.

Nikia is my best friend. We became friends through Twitter. We finally met at a church function and have been inseparable ever since. Nikia has become my sister over time and has played a major role in my life. She played a huge role in my surprise engagement and I am forever grateful for her true and genuine friendship.
Danielle “Danni” Smith

Danielle “Danni” and I have been knowing each other since our freshmen year at Jarvis Christian College. We were on the cheerleading team together. We later on became suitemates in the LLC. Danni stayed in 305 and I stayed in 307. A lot went down in those rooms. But that’s neither here nor there. I’m happy that she will be sharing this day with me.

Jasmine is Brodrick’s cousin. I first met Jasmine on the Fourth of July at his mom’s house for a family barbecue. After I found out she was a preschool teacher, we’ve been close ever since. Jasmine is also known as “Gerri D” an amazing author. Jasmine is outspoken, fun to be around and down right spunky. Y’all better get y’all a Jasmine.

Alexandra Gilmore( and yes I have to say her full name) has been one of my closest friends since the sixth grade. It all started out with me asking her did she want a piece of Bubblicious Bubble Gum. She said yes and the rest was history. From the sixth grade up until now, Alexandra Gilmore has always been one to keep me motivated, especially with this teaching career.

Brodrick and Tiearra have been knowing each other since the fifth grade. I met Tiearra at a dinner party one night and from that moment forward, our relationship has been inseparable. Tiearra is very kindhearted, loving and has a beautiful soul.

Danielle is Vincent’s (one of Brodrick’s groomsmen) girlfriend. I met Danielle at the same dinner party I met Tiearra. Danielle is soft spoken and hilarious. She always knows what to say at the right time. Danielle has become one of my good friends over these past couple of years.

Brianna is my cousin. We practically grew up together. We even went to college together and were roommates twice! Even though she is younger than me, she acts like the older one at times. Brianna is smart, driven and is full of attitude and spunk.

Pamela(Pam) is Toni’s best friend, but has become my big sister over the years as well. Pam is funny, outgoing and just an all around genuine person.
Ariel Thomas

Ariel is my younger cousin. Growing up, we never stayed more than 15 minutes away from each other. Because we stayed so close, sometimes on Sundays, we would get together and cook Sunday dinner for the family. Both of us can throw down in the kitchen. Ariel is a beautiful, strong minded young woman who doesn’t take no for an answer.
