As a way to welcome everyone to New Orleans and kick off the festivities for the weekend, guests are invited to join the bride, groom, and their families/friends at the welcome party! Small bites and drinks will be provided.

Second Line

In true New Orleans fashion, the bride and groom will be ending their wedding reception with a Second Line parade through the streets of the French Quarter. As the reception comes to a close, guests will be asked to gather all of their belongings and slip on comfortable shoes to join the bride, groom, and their jazz band for this traditional exit. Please note, once guests leave The Jaxson, reentry will not be permitted. They encourage you to bring a small bag to carry your belongings along with comfortable walking shoes, as streets in the French Quarter are not known to be very smooth. Pedicabs will be available for guests who may need extra assistance ambulating, so you can still be included in this special tradition.
