Home of the Kentucky Derby, the fastest 2 minutes in sport! Check out the latest calendar for horse races at night or during the day where you can place your bets, while drinking a mint julep. Also, tour the museum to learn more about Kentucky horse racing and make sure to snag a ridiculously large derby hat for your next visit in May!
Kentucky Bourbon Trail
You can't go to Kentucky without tasting bourbon! After all, there are more bourbon barrels than people in this state (over 7 million). Choose from many distillery's in the Louisville area such as Evan Williams or Angel's Envy to watch how bourbon is made, taste it, and even take home a bottle. Tickets are available for purchase online. Jarel highly recommends as the bourbon lover himself!

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
If you're a baseball fan than this is a must see while in Louisville! Tour the museum and take home a mini Louisville slugger. AAA baseball games may be in season as well if you want to catch a game. This was Olivia's first internship where she worked in the retail store and ate as much Grater's ice cream as she could on her shift.
Muhammad Ali Center
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee! Jarel and I saw Muhammad Ali quite a few times at UofL football games before his passing. He was a true legend and proud Louisville native! Visit the museum and learn more about his legacy.
Waterfront Park
Walk the Big Four Bridge during the day or night that connects you from Kentucky to Indiana. At night the bridge is gorgeous with changing rainbow colors and during the day has beautiful views of the downtown skyline. The Belle of Louisville is a great boat ride on the water with outstanding views of the city with tickets available for purchase.
