Is there a dress code?

Yes, please wear formal attire. Men: Suits, tie, dress shoes Women: Midi or floor length dresses, formal jumpsuits, heels or flats

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! A select few kids will be invited who are participating in the ceremony nuptials.

Are there other hotel options in the area?

Answer

Yes. There are tons of hotels to choose from. Please choose wherever you are most comfortable. Note that shuttle service will only be provided from the Omni hotel and Hilton Garden Inn Downtown and back to those hotels after the reception. However, if you choose to stay at another nearby hotel and want to walk over to the Omni or Hilton Garden Inn Downtown you can jump on the shuttle from there! Please book quickly as the Fall brings football games, festivals and concerts in Louisville and therefore may become slimmer hotel pickings!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing shuttles from the Omni and Hilton hotel to and from the venue. However, if you prefer to drive yourself there is a garage next to the venue that is free for all guests to use. The address is Speed Museum Garage, 2317 S 2nd St, Louisville, KY 40208

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The venue doors will open around 5 pm and we are set to start at 5:30 pm

Yes, the bottles will be popped and flowing

Can I view the art galleries while at the museum?

Answer

Yes! The galleries are open during cocktail hour so be sure to check out all the amazing art. There's a Picasso in there you should definitely make the time to see.
