The year was 2015. Sarah and Jared were unwittingly set up by their mutual friend (hi Jessica) when invited over to her house to watch a Warriors game. Their first real date was to Village Sake, where Sarah was terrified of having to use chopsticks and Jared was terrified of saying something stupid. They both did well enough to continue dating and eventually fall in love.

One day, Morrison and Stevie brought Sarah and Jared on a foggy beach hike. A typical everyday activity turned into a surprise proposal (Sarah had failed to notice the large ring box not so subtly hiding in Jared's pocket). It was the perfect surprise!
