Question

Will transportation be provided from the hotel to the ceremony and venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation for guests staying at Danfords Hotel & Marina to the ceremony and then from from the ceremony to the reception venue. There will be: -Busses from Danfords to the church -Busses from the church to Flowerfield -Return shuttles also available at the end of the night from Flowerfield back to Danfords or to Tommy’s Place for the after-party. We kindly ask that you take the provided transportation and do not drive, so you can relax and enjoy the celebration safely!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive no later than 3:45 PM to allow time for seating and settling in. We recommend accounting for traffic and travel time to ensure you don’t miss a moment of the celebration. If you’re staying at Danfords Hotel & Marina, transportation will be provided to the ceremony—no need to worry about driving or parking! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking available at the ceremony and at the venue?

Answer

Yes, for guests within driving distance, there is free on-site parking available at both the church and the venue. Flowerfield offers valet parking, and overnight parking is available if needed—please note that overnight parking does not include security. If you're staying at Danfords in the village of Port Jefferson, parking is included with your stay; however, parking in the village can be limited and sometimes difficult to find. With that in mind, we strongly encourage guests to take advantage of the transportation we’re providing. It’s a convenient and stress-free option—especially helpful if you plan to enjoy the celebration without worrying about parking or driving at the end of the night.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Setauket, NY. Both the cocktail hour and reception will also take place indoors at Flowerfield Celebrations.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire, with the option of formal attire. Suits, cocktail dresses, floor-length dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are welcome.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved room blocks at two nearby hotels for Thursday and Friday nights to make your stay easy and comfortable. Preferred Hotel: Danfords Hotel & Marina in Port Jefferson **FULLY BOOKED** However, regular rates available by booking directly. Additional Option: Holiday Inn Express in Stony Brook We recommend booking early to secure your room at the special group rates. If you need extra nights beyond those reserved, you can contact the hotels directly. Links and booking codes are available on our 'Travel & Hotels' tab.

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! Your presence is the best gift, but if you'd like to help us start our next chapter, you can find our registry under the 'Registry' tab. We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Target, and Amazon— thank you so much for your love and support!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one or kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, we can't accomodate plus-ones or kids, unless they are explicity mentioned in the online RSVP. Thank you for making arrangements ahead of time to celebrate with us! If you have any questions, please reach out to Narali and Jared directly.
