Kona (KOA)

The wedding will be at The Four Seasons Hualalai, which is a 15-minute drive North of Kona International Airport (airport code KOA). KOA has many direct flights from mainland USA airports, but you can also fly direct to Honolulu (HNL), and take a 35-minute connection to Kona. No matter which Hawaiian island you fly to, you will be able to fly to Kona from there.

Rental Car

Please book a rental car at KOA

Taxis, Ubers & Lyfts can often be hard to get and unreliable on the island. If you're not staying on property (and even if you are and will want to explore), we recommend getting a rental car. Bonus points if you share one with other friends/family. Please book this asap when you plan your trip! You may also be able to find cheaper rentals on the Turo app.

This is where all the events will be, and where we have a discounted room block rate (more than 40% off their normal rates, which we admit are pricey, but ultimately worth it in our opinion). This is the best place to stay on Big Island! It's insanely beautiful, and it's where everything is happening. Please note, to get the room block rate, it is a minimum 3-night stay. We recommend staying Mon 11/3 or Tues 11/4 - Fri 11/7 or Sat 11/8, but feel free to use our discount rate and stay longer! We recommend staying in one of the hotels above (since we know they're all good), but if you're coming as part of a larger group of friends or family and you think a house makes more financial sense, please stay in the following areas: Waikaloa, Waimea or Puako. The Waikaloa Beach/Resort area will be the closest area to the hotel (about a 20 minute drive).
