If you head to the top of the hill, you’ll find the winery. At the bottom of the hill there is a beer garden with craft beers and a food truck.
Try a cider doughnut and some mulled cider here! There are fruits, vegetables and other seasonal items for sale in the barn. You can hike around and pick what’s in season as well.
A great place for scones!! Local artists have their artwork displayed throughout the dining area.
A nice loop to walk along and view the Quinebaug River and Cargill Falls.
Downtown Putnam offers a number of pubs with craft beers, ciders in a casual setting. You can also see the Courthouse Bar & Grille where Tom and Janet met in person for the first time on January 30, 2015❣️
The ice cream here is great and servings are very generous!! There is a mini golf in back of the building too.
The Pink House and the park where we will be married were summer retreats originally belonging to Henry and Lucy Bowen. Tours of the house, grounds and gardens are available on the weekends. Amazing Gothic Revival detailing abounds!
All the baked goods are made on the premises and are fantastic! The everything bagel toasted with either homemade veggie or cucumber dill cream cheese is to die for!! In the Autumn you will find all kinds of apple and cider products. Buy some as souvenirs!!
