Colloquially known as Zunzi's. This restaurant started as a literal hole in the wall and has expanded across Georgia and Florida. The menu features an array of items, many of which are inspired by South African flavors. We recommend ordering from The O.G.'s section, features from the original location menu. Krista's order is a Conquistador with a Zunzi's Tea!
A 1938 art deco Greyhound Bus Terminal, painstakingly restored to its original luster. Led by James Beard award-winning Chef Mashama Bailey, the restaurant features elevated Southern Cuisine incorporating a variety of fresh, regional ingredients. They offer brunch and dinner service Tuesday-Sunday. Currently, dinner features a 3-course prix fixe menu, which rotates seasonally and sometimes daily. If you're looking for fine-dining, this our favorite place for it in Savannah. Note: only open for dinner, except Sundays when they also serve brunch.
While the Bride and Groom have never been, this restaurant came highly recommended by a number of friends and locals who have at some time made Savannah their home. A true farm to table experience from a family in the area. Note: this restaurant is open for dinner only.
Whether you're looking for a relaxing walk or a rowdy crowd, River Street is a wonderful area to spend some time. Along this strip, you can find local shops, restaurants, and bars. The later it gets, the more people drink! Note: uneven surfaces and steep steps abound.
A main street for shopping and dining, popular amongst tourists and locals.
The Savannah equivalent to Central Park. A great place to walk and relax. Home to street musicians, local artists, and lots of trees.
If you're looking for a place to relax, Tybee is the spot! This beautiful beach is just a 30 minute drive from Downtown. Ubers and Lyfts will take people to and from the area.
