We were officially married on April 16th, 2021, in Wil, Switzerland—Jan’s hometown and the place we now both call home. After four years of long distance, we decided it was time to take the next step and live together, which led to our intimate civil ceremony. Due to COVID, we had just two witnesses, Pati and Ralf Breitenmoser, while Jan's sister, Anja, beautifully captured the moments on camera. While our ceremony was small, we’ve always wanted to renew our vows—not only because Alana might not have fully understood them the first time, but because we’ve dreamed of sharing this special moment with all of our loved ones. After five wonderful years of marriage, we’re overjoyed to finally celebrate with our family and friends and to reaffirm our love in the company of those who mean the most to us.
