We're so excited you're coming to the East Bay! If you can, we encourage to stay awhile and enjoy our gorgeous corner of the world. Here are some of our favorite things to do in Oakland and Berkeley:

An amazing park in Oakland filled with redwoods. Take any of the trails, they are all incredible.

Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park

The Botanical Garden is huge! You could spend a whole day here. Check out our Alma Mater beforehand!

University of California Botanical Garden

You can even take the bus from Downtown Berkeley!

Tilden Regional Park

Definitely worth a visit! Great combination of history, art, interactive exhibits, and current topics.

Oakland Museum of California

A lake right in the middle of the city. Great for hanging and strolling. This is also the site of our Welcome Dinner!

Lake Merritt

You don't have to go to Napa to enjoy some great wine. Head to this spot in Berkeley. There are a bunch of other wineries nearby.

Donkey & Goat Winery

Looking for an amazing view of the City (San Francisco) and the Bay? This is a great place for that.

César E. Chávez Park

Great brewery, pretty close to the winery spots! Have a full day of great drinks. Also very kid friendly!

Fieldwork Brewing Company

Love sour beers? This is the spot. Extremely kid friendly!

The Rare Barrel

Support the local co-ops! This is a Berkeley institution for great pizza. Get the green sauce, sit outside, and listen to live music. Don't forget to try their baked goods.

If you've never had Burmese food, please try it here. This place is delicious and will make you want Burmese all the time.
