Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are NOT doing paper invites (woohoo!) Please RSVP directly on this website (no later than September 10, 2021) and let us know so we can do a happy dance!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Joshua Tree is known for its quaint motels (very few hotels) and AIrBnB scene, so we'd suggest checking out those options - see the "travel" page for more info.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the Inn. But they probably have Uber/Lyft out there because YES there will be (much deserved) booze at this shindig.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We'd hate it if you didn't!

Question

What's the weather like in Joshua Tree?

Answer

In October (according to our good friend Google): High/Low: 86°/52° Rain: 4% chance Sunrise/Sunset: 6:40 am/6:40 pm (We will have heating lamps at the wedding on Saturday. You will definitely want to bring another warm layer for both Friday and Saturday nights after the sun goes down)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

OK this answer is revised post-covid since many of us have been living in leggings and pajama pants.... Cocktail Attire - whatever that means to you! Seriously we are OK with sparkling leggings. Dress for a hot daytime (highs get into the low 90s), but bring a coverup for the evening (lows in the mid 50/60s)!

Question

Is there a wedding party?

Answer

Keeping it simple ... no wedding party for us! But we will need our closest friends to help us get ready and feed us alcohol on the big day.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! Singles are welcome to bring a +1 and those with children are welcome to bring the kids. Just please make sure we know how many are attending in your party.

For all the days along the way
