Charleston International Airport

The closest commercial airport to Kiawah Island is the Charleston International Airport (CHS). Kiawah is just 32 miles (around 40-45 minutes) from CHS. Uber and Lyft are available from the airport but do not operate in and around Kiawah. Kiawah is a private Island, therefore, Uber and Lyft are not available. We encourage you to arrange your transportation ahead of time such as car services or rentals. Otherwise, there is a free shuttle service for Kiawah Island Resort guests. Please note that this service only travels to Resort locations and is only available to those who book their accommodations through the Resort.
